Connecting people through Kawane green tea

Kawane green tea has been awarded 15 times in nationwide tea contests and is renowned as one of the top-three quality green teas in Japan. Produced in the upper reaches of the Oi River area, Aito-en Tea Farm’s green tea comes from more than four generations of tea farmers who settled in the region. The tea from Aito-en has a rich, savory umami and natural sweetness that are particular to teas grown in this mountainous area. These tea leaves can even be enjoyed up to the third brewing.

Such green tea is served on the Engawa veranda of a traditional farmhouse, KOTORI.
They are skilled tea farmers hoping that visitors will fully enjoy Kawane. They look forward to meeting and befriending guests by sharing a splendid teatime served with warm hospitality. The tea from Aito-en Tea Farm is grown with meticulous care and attention to the crop, fertilizer, and outcome. All of these facets come together to create a perfect Kawane green tea.

In order to establish Kawane green tea as a more suitable brand to tea lovers, Aito-en Tea Farm also increased their commercial sales via mail and internet. By devoting themselves fully to the cultivation, manufacture, and production of green tea, Aito-en ensures that their leaves are of the highest quality.
