Matcha Calligraphy

Shizuoka Downtown

This popular plan includes "Tea Pairing," which pairs a course meal of seasonal ingredients with tea brewed by a tea master, and "Matcha Calligraphy®︎," a new concept of writing letters using matcha green tea instead of ink.

While enjoying a delicious course meal and tea, you can hear from a tea master about the charms of tea and how to enjoy it. After the meal, a lesson on "Matcha Calligraphy ®︎" will be given by Ms. Shoran, a calligrapher who introduces tea to the world. The vivid green color gradually changes to brown when exposed to air, which is the charm of matcha calligraphy ®︎, to enjoy the process of change as well.
